KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Prisons are determined to win back the title they last won in 2017 at the 36th Tan Sri Murad Ahmad National Prison Football Tournament in Penang starting today (Thursday). They lost to arch rivals Kajang (Selangor) 2-1 in last year’s final and they had beaten the same team the previous year 5-4 on penalties.

Coach Roslan Wasli reckoned with one month of intensive training under him and assisted by Augustine Paga, he is confident the players can achieve the target. “Our preparation started a month ago and all the players are ready to give their very best to reach the final and reclaim the title.

He said this after the handing over of the Sabah flag to team manager Jorennedy Sylvester by PP AB Nasif Sarahan representing Sabah Prisons Director Haji Suria Idris with the presence of assistant team manager Adney and other team members in a ceremony held at the Sabah Prisons head office in Kepayan on Thursday.
