KOTA KINABALU: Alijus Hj Sipil has been reappointed as the Secretary General of the Sabah Football Association.
However, the association has decided to name a new man to become its honorary treasurer in Dr Lawrence Chu Jan.
The appointment was made during the FA’s first Supreme Council meeting that was chaired by its Supremo Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Haji Aman on Sunday.
Haji Nizam Datuk AB Titingan has also been reappointed as the Assistant Secretary General I, while Assistant Secretary General II is a new face, Dr Mohd Farid Abdullah, succeeding Junaidi Ahmad Fauzi.
Another new face, Mau Kam Wah has been tasked to assist Lawrence Chu.
The meeting also decided to name Brandon Soh as an appointed Supreme Council member while another two (appointed Supreme Council members) will be from the Sabah Police and the State Education Department.
The meeting, under Article 42, has also named Musa as the Chairman of the Finance and Management Committee, while its Vice President Joehari Datuk Ayub heads the Team Management Committee.
Deputy President II Datuk Lawrence Gimbang has been tasked as the chairman of the Local Competition Committee with Brandon Soh heading the Rules and Regulations Committee.
Another Vice President Datuk Jahid Jahim is the Chairman of the Referee Committee, while Mau Kam Wah heads the Internal Audit Committee.
Datin Malianah Ugau heads the Women Football Committee, while Vice President Datuk Osman Jamal is the chairman of the Technical and Youth Development Committee.
Haji Yamani Hafez Datuk Seri Musa retained his chairmanship of the Futsal and Beach Football Committee, while Haji Husin Abdurahim is the Sports Science Committee chairman.
Deputy President I Datuk Tawfiq Abu Bakar Titingan, who is also the Youth and Sports Minister, is the chairman of the Players’ Status Committee.
Datuk Juil Nuatim has been named as the chairman of Gate Collection Committee.
The Security Committee will be headed by a representative from Sabah Police while the Integrity Committee is headed by Brandon Soh.
Mohd Joh Wid is heading the Communication and Media Committee, while Vice President Datuk Yusof Kassim is the chairman of the Coaches Development Committee, with Razak Sulaiman heading the Welfare Committee.
