KOTA KINABALU: The Sabah Football Association (SFA) will hold a meeting today to decide on the fate of its Premier League team head coach David McCreery.
McCreery’s contract ends early next month, but a rumour in the social network such as Facebook or even Twitter yesterday, had it that the Northern Ireland man has resigned.
McCreery could not be reached for comment.
However, SFA Secretary General Alijus Hj Sipil when contacted yesterday refused to comment on the matter other than confirming that he had not received any official resignation letter from the former Manchester United man.
“I have not received any official letter (resignation) from him. So, I cannot give any more details other than that. I will only be able to give more on his status after our meeting tomorrow night. Until then, there is nothing more I can say,” said Alijus.
