KUCHING, May 10 (Bernama) -- The Sarawak Football Association will install a giant screen to enable its fans to watch the Super League match between Sarawak and Sabah 'live' outside the State Stadium in Kuching on Saturday.
Sarawak FA President Datuk Sudarsono Osman said the move was to provide an alternative for fans to watch the match since the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) had barred fans from the State Stadium and ordered Sarawak to play its matches in an empty stadium.
"We are still appealing against the ban so that fans can return to the stadium," he told reporters here Thursday.
Sudarsono said though Sarawak would be playing the match against Sabah in an empty stadium, steps would be taken to ensure security at the stadium.
