KOTA KINABALU: KDM Penampang are looking for their second win in row against KDM Kota Marudu in their group B clash of the KDM Football League at the Penampang Stadium this afternoon at 3.45pm.
The team are currently top of the table following their 2-0 over KDM Sook in the first round ,and another win will confirm their progress to the next round of the competition and team manager Justin Juani and his deputySonnie Hamdin have called on the fans to come to the stadium to give their support to the team. “Victory tomorrow will ensure us into the next round. we hope with the home ground advantage it will bring us luck and we also want all football fans in the district to come and give their support,” they said on Saturday.
Justin also hopes his two scorers Fester Lijawa andPonzo Nikola @ Ponzo in the win over Sook last week will continue their scoring form. “Fester Lijawa andPonzo Nikola @ Ponzo netted the goals for us in the opening match and I hope to see them ortheir team mates finding the net again to ensure victory for us, “ he said.
