SABAH CEBAGOO FC’S season went from bad to worse when they lost 6-0 to Army in Kuala Lumpur yesterday.
It was Cebagoo’s heaviest defeat in the FAM League.
Army led 4-0 at halftime before adding two more goals to add misery to Cebagoo, who had an encouraging start to the season.
The defeat saw the East Malaysian club side drop to eighth with 15 points, having won four times, drawn three and losing on nine occasions.
“We lost out in the fitness battle against Army,” said head coach Razali Zinin yesterday.
“We will be playing for pride in the next four game … we want to finish in a better position.”
Up next for Cebagoo is a home game against Perak YBU FC on June 9 and Shahzan Muda FC in Kuantan on June 16.
Cebagoo will then host Penang, who have already earned promotion to the Premier League, on June 23 before wrapping up their league campaign away to Kelantan Tumpar FA on June 30.
