AN under-strength Sabah Cebagoo concluded the FAM League first round fixtures with a 3-1 defeat to Harimau Muda C today.
Played at the Mini Persada PLUS Stadium, Kelana Jaya, the Sabah club were no match for the national juniors who were three-up in the first half.
Midfielder Md Arifyanshah Jafar got the consolation with less than three minutes to the final whistle.
Head coach Razali Zinin was far from satisfied of the team display which he described as “very poor”.
“The other team dominated because we were very poor. We were lucky because it could have six or more goals for them.
“I’m disappointed,” added Razali, who was without key players such as Mohd Reithuddin Emran, Billyton Vun and Rainold Masaat due to injuries for the clash.
Cebagoo are likely to drop further down the table having ended the first round with
three wins, two draws and five defeats for 11 points.
The teams will meet again at the Universiti Malaysia Sabah stadium on April 28.
