Kota Kinabalu: Sabah came back from two goals down to force a 2-2 draw with Negri Sembilan at the Super League match played on Saturday night.
All four goals were scored in the second half and the heroes of the night for Sabah were Sharudin Yaakub and defender Ronny Harun.
Sharuddin who was recently called up to the national squad shot home the first goal to initiate the come back and Ronny scored his first goal of the season with a firm header to snatch a late draw.
Assistant manager Yahya Datuk Kassim when contacted said it was a very good game and the depleted Sabah team played well to deny the home side in the first half.
According to him, a lapse of concentration in the second half allowed the home team to score from two goals.
The one point earned from the match saw them climbing above PKNS KL into 9th place with 15 points from 12 matches played.
Sabah's next match will be a home game against Perak team at the Likas Stadium.
