KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Cebagoo FC will take on Perak YBU FC in a FAM Cup tie that is of not much consequence apart from completing their fixtures at the UMS Stadium today.
With promotion to the Premier League long gone, it is also a game to fight for pride, after they suffered a huge 0-6 defeat to Tentera Darat FC, in their last fixture away.
The match has been set to kick off at 4.15pm.
For the record, Cebagoo are on 15 points having won four times, drawn thrice and losing on nine occasions.
One of the victories came against basement side YBU FC 2-0 on March 17 where striker Rainol Masaat and midfielder Mohd Arifyanshah Japar scored the goals.
After today’s game, Cebagoo will travel to Kuantan to face Shahzan Muda FC on June 16, before playing their last home game on June 23 against Penang, who have earned promotion to the Premier League.
They would conclude their challenge away to Kelantan Tumpat FA on June 30.
