Daily Express

Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah President Cup team registered their fourth away win of the season with a 1-0 victory over Melaka on Thursday. The team led by stand-in coach Burhan Ajui scored in the 85th minutes through Rexjeson Pitrus with a neatly taken strike after receiving a pass from Sabri Sahar from the midfield.

It was the first goal for the striker since his other winning strike against Kelantan on Feb 4. Burhan when contacted praised his players for their attitude on the pitch. "I am very satisfied with their commitment as they followed the instruction strictly and I would say we controlled the match and we deserved the three points today."

The team have collected a total of 27 points from six wins, nine draws and four defeats after 19 matches played. Their next match is against Kelantan on May 2 here at the Likas Stadium.
