SABAH CEBAGOO were left disappointed after being held 0-0 in the FAM League tie against Kelantan Tumpat FA today.
In what was a game of little actions at either ends of the field, Cebagoo failed to reach the same heights that saw them stretched unbeaten Penang to the limit before losing 0-1 last week.
The visitors had more times on the ball with their neat passing game but like their hosts, lacked the creativity at the final third of the pitch.
Cebagoo were forced to play the last eight minutes with 10-man after rightback Mohd Nazrein Sani picked up a second yellow for an early bath but the visitors failed to make full use of the advantage.
“I can’t understand it. Last week we played extremely well against Penang but today we were poor,” said Cebagoo coach Razali Zinin.
Cebagoo remained in mid table with 11 points (three wins, two draws, four losses) and will conclude the first round fixtures away to Harimau Muda C on April 21.
