Koh helps Sabah halt 4-game slide

Daily Express

Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah Premier League squad managed to stop the rot with a spirited fight back from 0-3 down in the first half to draw with PDRM on Friday. Koh Traore was the hero scoring a hat-trick with his third goal coming right at the final whistle. Assistant team manager Yahya Kassim when contacted was elated with the one point earned.

'The team was lucky to escape with the draw. They made too many mistakes in the first half and with the introduction of Koh to replace Jufrey Omopor after the third goal, it completely changed the scenario of the game." "The team showed more urgency after that and Koh also displayed great attitude and character and seemed eager to silence the critics and it is good for the team if he can continue his scoring form."

Striker Leopold Alfonso and Zainizam Marjan also came on in the second half with the former replacing Khairul Izwan Khalid and the latter Dendy Lowa . Sumardi Hajaln was back to take over from Dendy in his left back position while the arrival of Zainizam strengthened the midfield department. The draw ended a miserable run of four consecutive defeats for Sabah.
