Rhinos not going to be generous with KL tonight

Kota Kinabalu: Sabah will not be in a generous mood when they meet Kuala Lumpur in their first Premier League away match in Cheras Stadium tonight.

Team manager, Rahman Zakaria said Coach Drago Mamic had been sorting out the Rhinos' chink in the armour evident from their first match in Likas when they allowed Selangor PKNS to snatch an injury time equaliser.

"It was just a minor mistake but costly. So we have instructed the players to stay focus until the last whistle," said Rahman when contacted in Kuala Lumpur on Monday.

He said Sabah are hoping to garner three full points from each of its match and although most of the meetings between Sabah and Kuala Lumpur ended in a draw last season, the Rhinos would be going all out to ensure victory. "We hope the players would not repeat the same small mistake and instruction has been given for them to play cautiously," he said.

Last week, Sabah had played brilliantly against Selangor PKNS with new hitman, Nigerian, Charles Obi proving a hot commodity when he scored one in each half to build up a 2-0 lead.

The full three points were already in sight for Sabah when the game entered into injury time but just a short lapse of concentration in the Sabah defence saw Selangor PKNS, which had pulled one back earlier scoring to level the score 2-2.

Rahman said Sabah's line-up tonight would be more or less similar with the first match's line-up where Obi is partnered by another new signing, Paul Shitaleni Shipanga from Namibia upfront.
